  I am a self-taught designer and musician. I was home schooled growing up and have always had a strong interest in entrepreneurship. I studied Culinary Arts & Sound Engineering through JCCC in Kansas City before dropping out to do my own thing. I started freelancing part-time around 2004 never stopped. From 2008 through 2010 I worked at a few privately owned web-development firms specializing in front-end development and graphic design. This experience inspired me to try freelancing full time. I currently work closely with Pipeline Productions & a few other entertainment related entities.

  How do I design?

  I organize disorder. I find similarities and patterns inside of chaos. I give information a voice. I am conscious of process and can justify change. I design with the experience of the user in mind and utilize the power of interactivity to streamline and engage. I have fun and I let it show in my work.

• Technology & Methods

  I'm familiar with a number of technologies & methods that help me deliver cost effective solutions in less time than organizations with many employees. I like to utilize open-source technologies like Wordpress & jQuery as the backbone of my work. Utilizing open-source technologies allows me to deliver fully-tested interactive media & dynamic content management solutions at an affordable price in a quick time frame.

  “I want a website, but will I be able to edit it myself?”

  I utilize Wordpress as a content management system for myself and my clients. If I build you a website, you will be able to edit most non-graphical text through a secure admin panel from any computer with an internet connection.

  “I need updates to my current site, can you help?”

  Yes. But I will suggest that we build a new site that you can maintain yourself in the near future.

  “I Have a project that's halfway built and I need it finished, can you help?”

  It all depends on the project. I will most likely recommend that you start it over with the technologies and methods I'm familiar with.

  I build slick and clean projects on the web that span all levels of complexity and mediums. I can create a brand from the ground up or consult on existing branding / brand-advocacy. I am also an experienced music producer and session drummer and have played / recorded drums for many styles of music. Please get a hold of me if you are interested in involving me in your project.

  Each website is a unique build, here are some of my basic pricing guidelines:

  $1000 and Under

  A simple website with a few pages that you can edit on your own.

  $1000-$2500

  A more interactive site where you can edit and build your own pages, update a blog, admin a photo gallery, etc.

  $2500-$4000+

  A seriously custom & interactive website with e-commerce capabilities. These websites are powered by flux capacitors.
